ARTIST - LILY CHEUNG

I am an artist specializing in printmaking using soft and hard ground etching.

My style is rhythmic and random flow of mark making. I have been mostly inspired by the work of Dubuffet and Pollock.

The abstract character of my work leaves it open to many interpretations and I will be glad to hear your's.

Lily Cheung is a London based artist, who has worked and travelled in her cultural enquiry.

She is currently finalising her BA (Hons) Fine Art at the London Metropolitan University and due to graduate in 2008.

She has an extensive range of experience in the cultural market, working as Invigilator for the Liverpool Biennial, a Support Worker at Jump Ship Rat Gallery and much more. She has played an active role in many events to contemporary arts and culture. As Fine Artist she has exhibited in the Biennial, London and array other events.

Her creativity is expressed through a range of media, specializing in print and sculpture. She has explored a range of subjects from identity, gender politics, urban space and relationships at times combined in a range of Fine Art media fused with an interest in digital photography and much more.
